You'll notice a wide range of places and subjects here, as I enjoy travelling and photographing many different landscapes, critters, or architectural shapes. Shooting in black & white is as classic as it has ever been, and it remains a favourite pastime.  It is a joy to capture both hauntingly dark and beautiful places as well as the natural beauty around us from day to day. Each category here represents a piece of my story: from growing up in rural Ontario on a farm with a musical family, to travelling in search of new landscape vistas or interesting architectural buildings, to edgy cityscapes, to my attempts to capture the beautiful lines and curves of flowers, or the serene seaside settings that give me a sense of peace.  The "abandoned & rural decay" category is an allegory about those of us who have had deep pain, sadness, or trauma or who have been in a place requiring rebuilding: while the places seem dark and lost, there is great beauty hidden there.
